Tabbed Tag Cloud

This page uses the Tag Groups plugin. Each group of tags is displayed in a separate tab. Under each group you find a tag cloud of tags that belong to this group.

  • You do need to have tags organized into groups to use this feature.
  • You can use either shortcodes or Gutenberg blocks to display this feature.
  • This feature is available in the Free and the Pro version of Tag Groups.
  • Click here for documentation on Tabbed Tag Clouds.

Example #1: Basic Tabs

This first example uses the simplest tabs format. We’ve added a pipe bar character between all of the terms.

Example #2: Tabs with Mouseover and Icons

In this example, we’re only showing tabs that relate to languages. To reflect that focus, we’ve added a Unicode icon of a globe to each icon. These tabs will load automatically thanks to a mouseover effect.

Example #3. Custom Styling

The following example uses the “append” and “prepend” options to add style to the terms. We’re using a Unicode icon of a photo, plus the “slategray” theme.
